Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 September 2026

These terms apply to the Daily HSK iPhone app ("the app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Licence

You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple's standard EULA applies where these terms are silent.

Content

Vocabulary and grammar-point numbering follow the published New HSK (3.0) syllabus. English meanings, explanations and example sentences are written or curated by the developer; Chinese sentence text may include openly licensed material (see Settings → About in the app for attributions). Content is provided for language study and may contain errors. Daily HSK is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Hanban, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, or any official HSK testing body.

Your data

Learning progress is stored on your device and, if you enable it, in your private iCloud account. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy. You can erase all data at any time from Settings → Account.

Acceptable use

Do not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app or its bundled content, or use it in a way that breaks applicable law.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including missed reminders or lost progress.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always published at this address. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
