Frequently asked
How do I add the Lock Screen widget?
Long-press your Lock Screen → Customize → Lock Screen → tap the widget area below the clock → choose Daily HSK. Home Screen widgets: long-press the Home Screen → + → search "Daily HSK".
How does progress sync between my devices?
Sync uses your iCloud account — sign in to the same Apple Account on each device and keep Settings → Account → Sync progress with iCloud turned on. Daily HSK has no login of its own.
How do I hide pinyin or the English translation?
Globally: Settings → Reading. Per sentence: every Chinese sentence has its own eye buttons for pinyin and English, and a speaker button to hear it read aloud.
The sentence audio is silent.
Check the ringer/silent switch and volume. Chinese voices are provided by iOS; for better voices open iOS Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → Chinese and download an enhanced voice.
How do I change my HSK level?
Settings → Learning → Level. Daily words and sentences follow the level you pick; you can move up or down at any time without losing progress.
How do I delete my account and data?
Settings → Account → Delete account & data. This erases everything from the device and from your private iCloud immediately. See the privacy policy for details.
